Calling on all nook tech-heads
Published 1 year, 2 months ago in Shopping.I need help in deciding on a new Smartphone, upgrading from a Treo 600. Need to choose between two options: Treo 680 or 750 (see official comparison chart http://www.palm.com/us/products/resources/comparison-smartphone.html ).
Am unsure about the operating systems and whether the screen resolution or camera differences are worth considering in making a decision.
Any advice, especially from the tech-heads (you know who you are), will be much appreciated.

What do you use it for?
If you work on a Mac, it seems only the 680 supports this.
The camera quality is so low as to be negligible.
I like the radio feature on the 750.
The rest of the specs have a lot of crossover.
A lot more software comes bundled with the 750 so I’d go for that, but depending on price difference and what you use it for, it might not matter much.
Use it mainly for phone and organizer, but would consider email and ms word if it would be feasible enough.
I don’t have Mac, only work on laptop PC with Microsoft windows XP and mainly use Outlook Express, Internet explorer, Skype and Word features- most basic operations really.
Do you mean camera quality of both is negligible or would the 750 be noticibly better? Might be handy to have a camera.
Not sure about the radio, but I was under impression that both have MP3?
Price difference would be approx $100 on a special price.
Anyway, thanks for your input. Perhaps I could call the helpline or customer service too..
